Gortatole Outdoor Centre

It was 1999 , I was 17 years old from Bulgaria . Landed in Northern Ireland I felt on completely different world . My feelings to the nature was instantly felt in love Time spent in and all the activities( kayak rides, swimming, caves visits, nature trips and others)people , friends, food -everything left forever in my heart with the promise to come back one day Now living in England is easier to get to Gortatole where to take my children. They are the same age when I went there Sooo Just watching movie about Greenland and I decided to open the map and looking the nature I remembered that year 1999 when I visited Gortatole for a week as part of program between Northern Ireland and Bulgaria youth centres. I am amazed after 23 years the centre is there and the activities continues . Sending all my love P.S. You are seeding incredible dreams and goals to achieve later in life in young childrens hearts

This was a day trip with 18 teenagers. The 2 activities were challenging and appropriate. The staff were excellent in their preparation, in their safety awareness and in their group awareness. A great experience for both the teens and their leaders.
