Juice really is much more than a business referral networking group. The informal meetings are friendly, enjoyable and a great place for advice and support from like-minded people.

I made the big decision to set up my own HR consultancy business, Heidi Black HR Ltd, in January 2021. I threw myself into attending every networking event I could find. Juice is one of the very few I have settled on and consistently turned up every Tuesday morning. The individuals I have met have welcomed me, offered support and guidance, on occasion challenged my thinking. The meetings have a structure and clear purpose but also, and most importantly have space for humour and flexibility. It is still early days but I feel that I am beginning to build knowledge and trust with the other members to hopefully begin to give and receive referrals. Setting up a business where I am working for myself, from home could have been lonely so for me Juice is a great way to keep in touch with others from a range of businesses who all genuinely want to support and encourage others. Now I am just looking forward to being able to meet them all in person rather than via Zoom!
