Dragonfly Quilting

The long arm quilting is brilliant as always. Marion has a real eye for detail, she gives great quilting advice, I have always been delighted with the results. I would highly recommend.

Marion at Dragonfly came to my rescue when I tried to reproduce my much-loved, but deteriorated antique French bed quilt. I had bought not too dissimilar antique-looking materials for the long panels and didn't know what to do next. Marion's name was suggested to me and she guided me through the sewing process, suggested a beautiul backing material (which turned out to be a reverse quilt), several patterns - I chose 'Doves and Ribbons' - and talked me through the varieties of lining and suggested the mixed colour quilting thread. Taking pity on my absolute cluelessness, she also agreed to bind it. The results are brilliant, Without her expertise and guidance, I would still be here with two bags of fabric from the Ally Pally 'Knitting and Stitching Show'.

Dragonfly Quilting is very fascinated about what they do, Marion really knows her quilting and fabrics inside-out. I was so amazed to see the amount of time and effort that goes in to finishing a product.
