The Blue Petal

With a very loose brief, and not much time, Assumpta created a beautiful bouquet and matching buttonholes and corsages. They were simple, classy, and delivered with instructions on how to fit them - very helpful! With a pick-up arranged on the morning of the ceremony, they were also fantatically fresh and scented. The bouquet lasted for a good 10 days which was lovely. And to top it all, Assumpta had some good references on how to dry the flowers afterwards. Top service and top products, thank you!

From start to finish Assumpta from blue petal delivered excellent service. We met in person to discuss ideas and she created everything we envisioned for our big day. The flowers were beautiful and made our wedding day all the more special.

Assumpta at The Blue Petal did the flowers for our wedding this August and did a fantastic job. When I first spoke to her, I had no idea what I really wanted, but she was so kind, patient and helpful. The flowers I eventually decided on were based on a couple of pictures from the internet so I was a bit nervous about whether it would be possible to recreate these ideas or not, but Assumpta did a brilliant job of using these ideas but also creating her own styles. The colour scheme was vibrant, based around pink and orange, with lots of other colours dotted in there, and they were truly beautiful! We needed flowers at the church and the reception venue which was 40 minutes away; Assumpta and her husband managed to move all the flowers from one venue to the other so quickly, so we could re-use all our flowers and stick to our tight budget. We received so many comments on our flowers and all of the wedding party took some home the next day and enjoyed them for another week!

Assumpta was great. We started off our consultation with her not knowing what we wanted, we had just a few ideas and some pictures we liked. Assumpta used her knowledge and skill to identify flowers, foliage and arrangements we may like and really helped us get the image in our heads into the real world. The communication was great, we had many emails from Assumpta with new ideas and questions to narrow our scope down. We attended a consultation with Assumpta where she showed us what was possible including the addition of a flower chandelier for our ceremony room. Assumpta also visited the venue with us to get a better idea of what was required at the venue. The flowers on the day were beautiful and really added to the venue. Thanks Assumpta for helping to make our day really memorable.
