My 30yo office chair was in trouble. Deep trouble. Battered, bruised and very tired. It had been a tough gig.But a one-way trip to the tip was out of the question. After all, we'd been through so much together, winning and losing deals at my desk in three different houses over three decades. The old dear's chassis was fine, she just needed a wardrobe makeover, right?I contacted three potential specialists, more in hope than expectation. One never returned my call; another promised me the moon and then sunk without trace...but Karen, the effervescent Karen...returned my call almost immediately, asked pertinent, interested questions and requested some photos to assess whether what I was asking for was achievable.Fast forward a few days and I'm standing in Karen's unit discussing fabric swatches and colours. A few samples sent straight to my home later and we were in business.Karen duly collected from my house and just SEVEN days later, I was able to bring my gloriously refurbished chair home.WHAT. AN. AMAZING. TRANSFORMATION.I couldn't be happier with the outcome.Bravo, Karen and Mike!
