We had high hopes for Erst but left a little disappointed. Staff and atmosphere were nice but none of the plates had anything we'd write home about. We ordered a few dishes, the hoggart was probably our favourite, shame about some of the others not living up to expectations (the asparagus and steak tartare had a lot of mustard in both dishes)...

Excellent food and very kind staff. The Caramelised bread and bay parfait with rhubarb was the best dessert I have ever had. Out of this world!
