I'm surprised at so many very negative reviews. I regularly stay in hotels ranging from budget to fairly expensive and this one is adequate for the modest price and location. Staff were cooperative and polite. My room was a bit awkward to get to and the bathroom was rather small but the room was clean, the facilties were all properly functional and I had no disturbances over three days. There was a small fridge in my room too which was great. The television was small but the controls and channels were fine. For around 75 per night which included Friday and Saturday, I have no major complaints. Instant check in too. The stairs wouldn't be suitable for some people. I did not notice any smoke smell. Maybe I was lucky but my experience was a good.
