If i could leave 0 stars i would. Avoid, Poor quality work!! and non existing after sales! My first interaction with BPC was good and Jack and his dad were clearly passionate about Motorsports so I got on well and felt comfortable they were able to install a roll cage on my 4 Astra with ease. God! How wrong I was. A couple of weeks after paying a large deposit for the cage as it was coming from Custom Cages, I called to check progress to find the cage wasnt there I was told there was a delay at Custom Cages. Fair enough these things happen. But this turned out to be the first of many more delays to come. Weeks later I called and was told the cage was here, but it couldnt be started as you had sent off the weld inspection to custom cages so wouldnt be starting until it was given the ok. Although this was disappointing I accepted what was said and was happy to wait as I needed the cage to be certificated as I planed on racing with it and would need a MSA log book for the car. (I have since discovered this Cert was never applied for). Many, Many calls (weeks apart I add), were made on my behalf and each time I was told progress was slow or jack hadnt progressed from previous times I had called for one reason or another, Again although becoming more disappointed I was happy wait as long as it was done properly. I didnt want it rushed after all it is a major safety component to the vehicle and the last thing, I wanted was a rushed job. But after calling and speaking to mike the last week in November I was told it still wasnt completed Wow this was now 8 months after it was started. I explained to him I would be picking the car up that Friday in whatever state of completion it was in and we would discuss the amount owing for the work that had been done, However due to the Completion date for our house coming through I was unable to do this. This however gave BPC a further 3 weeks to complete the cage. I called again on 16th of December and spoke with the lady on reception she informed me the cage still wasnt complete but was 90% done. By this time, I had had enough, I informed her I will be collecting the car on Tuesday 20th mid-morning and to please let me know what is due to be paid. I arrive Tuesday 20th and collect the car and paid 75% of the remaining balance. However, on returning home I started to see things that didnt seem right, bars sitting too far away from body one side and tight the body the other, so I started measuring and found huge discrepancies from one side of the car to the other, Im no expert but it just didnt look right to me. So, after I contacted BPC via wattsap and another phone call explaining my concerns I contacted Custom Cages, and they asked me to take images and send them over their initial comments was it doesnt look great. Im now left in the position where the cage will need completely removing and a new cage putting in to replace this one as its so bad. This is a massive blow the time I have waited till now is frustrating but the financial impact Im now facing to rectify this is obviously more that the initial cost it would have been had it been done correctly by BPC BPC have been given every opportunity to come to an agreement with my self to settle this matter but have been fobbing me off now since 20th Dec 2022. I run my own business and would never treat my customer like this. Things go wrong lads, none of us are perfect but all I needed was for you to hold your hands up and do the right thing. Im left with no option but to take this company to Court.
