Had a great experience at Pain Spa. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and put me at total ease throughout the whole process. The injection worked very well and I felt immediate relief. Great communication throughout and very efficient with booking appointments and follow ups. Would 100% recommend and would definitely use them again if needed.

After several months of having various tests at the GP to rule out internal causes of my abdominal pain, they were stumped. Then I came across some academic papers that suggested ACNES should be considered and found Dr Krishna's website. He was able to see me very soon and administered an anaesthetic/steroid injection which started to work fully the following week, proving the diagnosis. Thanks to Dr Krishna I finally got a clear diagnosis and relief from the debilitating pain that was making it difficult to do ordinary activities. I might need further treatment I'm future and will definitely return to Dr Krishna if that is the case. He is very knowledgeable about this condition as well as being friendly and reassuring.

Dr Krishna, his nurse and secretary thoroughly deserve a 5 star review. Dr Krishna was very professional and completed a thorough assessment at my initial video consultation, at my face to face diagnostic appointment and procedure date. He is very knowledgeable about my abdominal cutaneous nerve entrapment syndrome (ACNES) and diagnosed this through a nerve block. He then completed a radio frequency ablation of this nerve in September 2022. I am pleased to report that I am 90-95% pain free most of the time. I would recommend the Pain Spa Ltd company to my friends and family and anyone experiencing any nerve pain. My local NHS trusts were unable to diagnose ACNES for 2 years until i found Dr Krishna's website. I would describe my pain as a constant throb, sometimes sharp and could localise it using two fingers. The pain never moved from this position. After numerous NHS tests it wasn't related to anything with gastroenterology (food intolerance) , gynaecological or urological. My pain was worse on bending at the hip forwards or sideways during any exercise, sitting for long periods of time, or any movement relating to abdominal muscles. I used to be super fit training sometimes twice a day with running, teaching Zumba, weight resistance training. Now that I am recovering from the ablation procedure I am able to start exercising more. If you have these same symptoms I would definitely recommend an appointment with Dr Krishna.
